Apple Crumb Pie Recipe
Here is my tried and true recipe for apple crumb pie!
After getting a new stove last week of course I had to test it out and what better way to test a new stove than by baking a pie? Today I share with you my favorite apple crumb pie recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 6 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
Directions
- Mix cinnamon and sugar together, toss with apples to coat.
- Unroll pie crust into pie plate and add apples.
- Mix brown sugar, butter, and flour to make crumb topping. Spread evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 45 minutes in a 375 degree oven. (Convection oven may only need 30-35 minutes)
Notes: Make sure you let the refrigerated pie crust come to room temperature while you peel the apples, it will try to crumble/crack if you use it straight out of the fridge.
This recipe is so good I’ve seriously made not one, not two, but three pies with it in my new oven! It comes together so fast and a huge hit with everyone! I hope you enjoy!
