Our Cats
We currently have 9 residents here, and I'd like to introduce you to all of them!
When we moved to my husband's grandparents' old house, no one really told us that it came with cats. They are what we call "friendly ferals" and part of our ongoing TNR efforts here to keep cats + neighbors happy and healthy alike.
Zera, aka Mama Muffin
Zera is the proud mama of Burrito, Taco, McFloofin and Peanut Butter. She is currently pursuing a modeling career.
Burrito
This handsome big boy loves being outside, enjoys chasing all the latest fashions, and has the most laid-back relaxed attitude you will ever meet. He loves puzzles, boxes and collage.
Taco
Taco is a true gentleman and a scholar. He is the sweetest, gentlest cat you will ever meet. He is a pescatarian, wouldn't hurt a fly and lately has been practicing his disco moves.
Peanut Butter
Peanut Butter is no-nonsense and takes business seriously - she has several satellite offices around the house where she works regularly. She loves cooking and reading cookbooks and can always make sense of the chaos around her.
McFloofy
McFloofin is a wild one who gets into a lot of trouble all the time. He's the cat that will climb your Christmas tree and get tangled in the lights, chase everything and anything, and give you tons of purrs and cuddles. He also really loves everything slow stitch, sewing and the fiber arts.
Enchilada
Enchilada was discovered as an abandoned kitten during the peak of Covid-19 in 2020. She is our most expensive cat, as we had to pay $350 to get her spayed + vaccinated because the clinics were overloaded. She is my main side kick and is the best cat to take a nap with. In her free time she loves to do beads, make jewelry, collage, journal and watch TV.
Cookie
Cookie is one of our oldest cats of the group (turning 10 this year!) and very much acts like a sweet grandmotherly type cat. She loves a good snuggle on your lap if you sit still somewhere long enough.
Crystal
Miss Crystal Ball is a princess, a total diva and insists drinking her water out of tea cups and fine china. She is always quick to tell you when there is something going on that she doesn't like. She has claws and is not afraid to use them. All that being said, she's fiercely loyal.
Cocoa
Our cat Cocoa is actually a labradoodle, but she doesn't mind. She is often the star of the show on our YouTube channel. Cocoa will go anywhere with you if you promise her a Minty Bone.
