What You Can Learn From a Cheap Pair of Shoes: How to Get Anything You Need

I am the queen when it comes to frugal living. This probably shocks a lot of people, because in some regards I am always happy to spend money (ie: hiring professional plumbers or buying ridiculously expensive household appliances for example) – there is a lot of stuff I DON’T buy that most people do.

Today we bought shoes. Haha, yes, shoes. A very unusual thing for me to buy indeed!

It’s the first pair of shoes I have bought for myself in over a year. (I only own 3 pairs of shoes total).  I didn’t just buy shoes for me though – I also bought shoes for the kids too…and I only spent $35 total.
