Peanut Butter the Mechanic Plus Seven and Lemony are Back!

One of Peanut Butter’s many passions, besides cooking, is mechanical work on cars, specifically box trucks.

A few weeks ago, Ray‘s brake line completely snapped in half, leaving him with zero brakes while driving which of course is terrifying. Peanut Butter has been part of the process from start to finish, making sure he knows exactly what to fix.

When she’s not doing the exhausting work of fixing cars, she naps in a laundry basket on a picnic blanket.

Also napping is McFloof - he took over the outside porch box that may never make it to the recycling bin because it always seems to have a cat in it!

The weather has been gorgeous this week and we started a lot outside to prep for fall. Collecting seeds, transplanting plants and all that fun stuff. I still need to figure out where I am going to put my houseplants before the frost gets here.

Crystal has also been busy, mainly sharpening her claws.

Guest Cats Lemony and Seven Are Back!

Back in August, I shared photos of Seven and Lemony. These are my cousin Jenny’s cats and they live in Philadelphia, PA. Jenny put together a wonderful story of how they came to live with her I hope you’ll check out. (And it has lots more photos of these two!)

All in all it’s been a good week and hopefully Ray will get that truck fixed soon! I’m sure with Peanut Butter helping it will be no problem. She was quite good at helping with the tractor!

I hope you have a good weekend - tell me what you’re up to or share your cat photos in the comments!
