Friday Cat Photos Sept 11 2026
Some of you have been asking where Zera (aka Mama Muffin) has been these past few weeks. Mostly, she’s been hiding from the rain in closets and other hard to photograph places. Fortunately, she’s still very serious about her modeling career so we’ve been taking advantage of nicer weather to do a few photos.
I also managed to get a nice shot of Taco licking his paw - he is such a sweet cat and this is just too cute!
It seems all the cats have been sticking their tongues out a lot for the camera lately. Here’s Enchilada:
I caught Peanut Butter mid-yawn and she looks like she’s ready to audition for Kiss.

New on the blog I’ve shared a couple of family favorite recipes - Stuffed Pepper Soup and Apple Crumb Pie. Both recipes are kid tested and husband devoured.
I’m going to try to regularly add new recipes to the site each month - If you have any favorite recipes you want me to try and share, send them to me! I love trying new foods and I especially love the stories that go with how a recipe came to be or why it’s special to you!
Creative + Crafty Stuff
This week I’ve mostly been playing around with beads and old broken jewelry. I don’t know why, but destroying jewelry and taking it apart is just as much fun as making it for me. Mainly my goal is to find some pieces I can use in slow stitch projects and so far I have a pretty nice stash!
As usual though it’s really the cats that take center stage!
